Visit our Institutional Page About the Role The Backoffice Manager is responsible for running the investments operations team, taking care of post-trade tasks, data control, and regulatory compliance. Ensure that all transactions are processed, settled, and recorded correctly and that operational processes are within the limits of compliance with international and regulatory standards for all investments products.

We are searching for a Backoffice Manager to work in the Investment Business Unit within Nubank, which aims to disrupt the investment market in Brazil, offering the best investment products to retail clients. The Backoffice Manager is responsible for running the investments operations team, taking care of post-trade tasks, data control, and regulatory compliance. Ensure that all transactions are processed, settled, and recorded correctly and that operational processes are within the limits of compliance with international and regulatory standards for all investments products.

You will be responsible for:

• Run the operations teams;

• Leading other back office coordinators;

• Leading change & business continuity for Brazilian market focused operations;

• Drive strategic decisions for the operations department;

• Work side by side with product and tech teams to drive prioritization;

• Communication with the upper management;

We are looking for a person who has

• Experience working with Investments

• Clear, concise, and objective communication skills.

• Leadership and people development skills

• Proven skills in stakeholder management and influencing.

• Teamwork: Effective team player with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Previous experience with technology teams

• Strong knowledge of investments products and financial markets

• General knowledge of the operational flow

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

• Language: Proficiency in English is a plus

Work Setup Location São Paulo, Brazil Work model Hybrid Office requirement 2 days per week at the office.
