Critical Facilities Technician

Description

Robert Half is currently seeking Critical Facilities Technicians to support data center clients with the operation and maintenance of mission-critical facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical electrical and mechanical systems

• Support UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, HVAC, and cooling systems

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance

• Respond to alarms and facility-related incidents

• Assist with equipment testing, maintenance, and vendor coordination

• Document operating conditions, incidents, and maintenance activities

• Follow established safety procedures and escalation protocols

• Support 24/7 data center operations as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in critical facilities, data centers, commercial facilities, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical environments

• Familiarity with UPS, generators, electrical distribution, HVAC, or cooling systems

• Ability to interpret technical documentation and operating procedures

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call schedules when required
