Job Description/Requirements.

Proposed Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Screen resumes and applications for organizational fit

  • Assist with phone screening candidates and schedule interviews accordingly

  • Assist with posting, editing and closing requisitions

  • Drafting offer letters and new hire checklists

  • Assist in preparation for HR events and attend the events as necessary (career fairs, job fairs, orientations)

  • Assist with running new hire orientation to include coordinating logistics and hotel accommodations for those traveling

  • Generate reports as needed

  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining all files; ensuring they are always current and in order i.e., personnel, health, contractor, credentialing

  • Handle daily HR administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings

  • Support HR projects, audits, and administrative initiatives as needed

  • Assist with data entry into HRIS system and/or other software systems being utilized

  • Maintain and monitor departmental supplies; place orders as needed

  • Provide daily customer service to all employees

  • Monitor the HR and Benefits email inbox, answering routine questions or directing to other team members as appropriate

  • Assist with processing benefit-related employee updates

  • Enthusiastically support the Mission, Vision and Core Values

  • Additional responsibilities or projects and duties assigned
