Job Summary

This position is responsible for planning and performing complex technical or engineering duties as assigned with some latitude for unreviewed action or decision, with minimal supervision. May direct or be assisted by Engineers, Nuclear Technologists, or Technicians assigned to a particular project or project phase

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform advanced technical or engineering evaluations.

  • Perform root cause analyses.

  • Independently assess and resolve potential conditions adverse to quality.

  • Prepare complex design changes not requiring Professional Engineers Registration.

  • Prepare engineering and technical reports.

  • Prepare involved 10CFR50.59 screens and evaluations.

  • Develop and conduct training.

  • Perform tasks in accordance with established expectations for nuclear safety and personnel safety.

  • Serves a lead role on projects, phases of projects, teams, processes, or programs

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor of science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology or:

  • Bachelor's degree + 9 years related work experience or:

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field + 11 years related work experience or:

  • Certified educational experience equivalent to an Associate's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field + 11 years related work

Key Metrics:

  • Advanced technical or engineering evaluations.

  • Root cause analyses.

  • Independently assess and resolve potential conditions adverse to quality.

  • Prepare complex design changes not requiring Professional Engineers Registration.

  • Engineering and technical reports.
