Hours:

8a-4p

Summary:

To purchase assigned commodities and services at the appropriate quantity, price, quality and delivery, and to assure that all purchases are made in compliance with the applicable Policies and Procedures and health care requirements.

Responsibilities:

Education

  • Associates degree required, Purchasing/Materials Management field preferred

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Purchasing/Materials Management field preferred

  • Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) certification preferred

Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years experience in Purchasing/Materials Management

  • Experience with Materials Management software system

  • Demonstrated experience in cost saving achievements

  • Healthcare experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Ability

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel Pivot Tables & Graphs)

  • Strong problem solving capability

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management and customer service skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Good leadership skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Environment

  • Sitting extensively in meetings, sitting behind computer.

  • Attendance at inter-departmental meetings.

  • Travel may be required among CH organizations and sites.
