Full job description
Our client, a logistics and records management organization, is seeking a Record Center Specialist 1 to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist 1, you will be part of the operations team supporting day-to-day record processing and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, comfort with hands-on physical work, and the ability to follow procedures accurately, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $21.28
Shift: 07:00AM - 03:30PM
What's the Job?
-
Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials
-
Manually lift, carry, and arrange storage boxes, bins, and totes (10–100 lbs regularly; 24 lbs to over 100 lbs encountered)

Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks while walking on uneven and concrete surfaces
-
Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes

Operate a hand-held scanner and support incoming and outgoing order workflows
What's Needed?
-
Ability to lift and carry boxes ranging from 10–100 lbs on a regular basis without assistance
-
Comfort working in a physically demanding environment, including standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting for extended periods
-
Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods, including up and down inclines and stairs
-
Ability to read and write English to follow labels, instructions, and order requirements

Ability to climb and balance on ladders and load/shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts

Work in a structured 5 days/week schedule with a normal work schedule of 9 hours a day (including 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks)
