Duties Description Under the direction and supervision of the Application Developer II, the Application Developer will work in a team environment developing and supporting applications. As a member of a small team of professionals, the incumbent will have the opportunity to be exposed to and take on other assignments in addition to the primary developer role.Essential Duties• Develop, maintain, and extend .Net-based web applications• Contribute to other programming projects and teams• Application/Framework design• Ability to mentor other developers on best practices• Evaluate and influence technological decisions related to application frameworks and dependencies • Act as a lead for a new application architecture and design• Actively participate in all phases of the development lifecycle

Minimum Qualifications • Required o Bachelor's Degree in a computer related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the position o 5+ years of programming experience o 2+ years of experience in web development using the Microsoft .Net stack o Knowledge of OOP and common design patterns. o Strong understanding of C# and SQL o Knowledge of ORMs such as Entity Framework or Dapper o Knowledge of HTML/HTML5 and CSS o Knowledge of XML and JSON o Experience with GitHub or a similar version control system• Preferred o Blazor Server / WASM o Knowledge of ASP.NET, MVC o Knowledge of JQuery and Javascript o Knowledge of web service communication protocols (e.g., SOAP, REST) o Experience using commercial UI components (e.g., Telerik, Synfusion) Additional Skills• Self-motivated and proactive• Understand user needs, identify root causes of problems, and implement pragmatic solutions • Strong analytical skills and decision-making ability• Willingness to work in a team environment and an ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds in a professional manner• Comfortable with the entire development lifecycle• Solid organizational and time management skillsWorking Conditions and Physical AbilitiesWork is primarily performed in an office setting, with prolonged periods of sitting and fine manipulation skills required for computer use.
