Full job description
The first marketer on Pocket's B2B team. Most people use Pocket for work, and most of them bought it themselves. Companies ask for it for whole teams, usually because someone inside already uses it. Your job is to reach the ones that haven't asked yet. You figure out which channels bring in teams that buy - paid, content, SEO, lifecycle - then run them yourself and scale what works. You work closely with our D2C marketing team, who already run paid, creative and lifecycle at scale: take what works from them and ask when you're stuck. This is a hands-on generalist role: you build the pages, launch the campaigns, write the copy, brief the creative and read the numbers. We approach marketing like engineering: measure everything, test on purpose, automate what repeats. What you'll own
- The B2B website: team and pricing pages, landing pages for the professions that use Pocket most, and the path from visit to talk-to-sales
- Paid acquisition for B2B: Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.
- Content and SEO: finding what brings in business buyers and doing it, from guides to comparison pages
- Proof: case studies, customer logos, review sites, and the third-party coverage buyers and AI search look for
- Lifecycle: email and in-app campaigns that move people using Pocket at work toward a team plan
- Creative: briefs, testing and a steady flow of new ads, made with our designer
- Tracking and data: attribution, dashboards and experiments you set up yourself, cost per deal by channel, and what you change when it moves
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in growth or performance marketing, at least part of it selling to businesses
- Hands-on: you've run the paid campaigns, shipped the pages and written the copy yourself
- You know when content or SEO will beat paid, and when it won't
- You write clearly and fast: headlines, landing pages, emails
- AI-native: LLMs, no-code tools and automations are how you work
- Data-driven, with an engineering streak: SQL, tracking and attribution setup, dashboards you build yourself
- Comfortable starting with no B2B playbook and making the calls yourself
Bonus points for:
- Marketing hardware plus subscription
- Turning individual users into team accounts
- Webflow, HubSpot or similar tools, hands-on
- Python or scripting to automate your own work
- An engineering or analytics background
What we offer
- The first marketing seat in a fast-growing B2B function
- A path to leading B2B marketing as it scales
- An experienced D2C marketing team to work with and learn from
- Direct impact on how the company grows
- A high-trust, high-responsibility environment with direct founder access
- Competitive compensation and equity
