Senior Estimator Location: Wood Dale, IL Schedule: 100% Onsite, Monday–Friday Salary: ~$120,000, depending on experience Bonus: Annual year-end bonus

The company provides General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design/Build services, with a strong portfolio of public, institutional, healthcare, education, and commercial projects.

The Senior Estimator will manage commercial construction estimates from start to finish and play an important role within the preconstruction team. This is a high-volume position handling multiple bids each week, with a clear opportunity for future advancement into estimating leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial bids from initial review through submission
- Perform takeoffs, pricing, scope review, and bid leveling
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Attend pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs
- Visit active jobsites and stay connected to field operations
- Coordinate estimate handoff and buyout with PMs and Superintendents
- Manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Strong commercial construction knowledge
- Experience managing multiple bids and deadlines
- Strong Bluebeam and Excel skills
- Subcontractor scope, pricing, and bid leveling experience
- Comfortable onsite 5 days/week and traveling to jobsites
- Public/institutional construction experience preferred
Compensation & Growth
- Approximately $120K base salary, depending on experience
- Annual company-wide compensation review and raise each June
