Sales Associate MA

The Sales Associate plays a critical role in driving growth for Omnicell's Medication Adherence business. Partnering closely with Account Executives, this individual helps identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities across a portfolio of pharmacy automation, medication adherence, and recurring revenue solutions while supporting territory strategy, customer engagement, and sales execution. This role develops expertise in long-term care, institutional, correctional, specialty, and closed-door pharmacy operations, helping customers improve efficiency, medication adherence, and patient outcomes through innovative pharmacy automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities across a diverse portfolio of capital equipment and automation, software, consumables, and recurring revenue solutions designed to improve pharmacy operations and medication adherence outcomes.

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, research, outbound campaigns, and customer engagement.

  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, workflows, and business objectives.

  • Partner with Account Executives to support territory planning, pipeline development, and opportunity progression.

  • Assist with pricing, proposals, quoting, contracting, and sales-related business planning activities.

  • Demonstrate Omnicell solutions virtually and in person for prospective customers.

  • Represent Omnicell at trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing meetings.

  • Build knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication adherence programs, automation technologies, and industry trends.

  • Participate in customer implementations and cross-functional projects to strengthen solution expertise.

  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and contribute to achievement of territory and team goals.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Relevant internship, work experience, or project experience in sales, business, healthcare, or a related field.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.

  • Healthcare, pharmacy, or medical technology experience.

  • Experience conducting customer outreach, prospecting, or account research.

  • Interest in building a career in healthcare technology sales.

Work Conditions

  • Environment – Remote/Home office environment

  • Travel required – ~20% Plus

  • Physical Requirements – Sitting, standing, walking, and using a keyboard
