Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based

Cedar Hill, TX | Elementary Caseload | Hybrid Schedule | $63/Hour

Amergis Educational Services is actively hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in Cedar Hill, Texas . This is a full-time position supporting elementary students across two school campuses with a well-established and managed caseload.

Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with one remote workday each week (scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, never Monday or Friday), while making a meaningful impact in students' lives.

Position Highlights:

  • $63.00 per hour

  • Weekly pay every Friday

  • Full benefits package available

  • One hybrid/remote day per week

  • Elementary school caseload

  • Support two school sites (not on the same day)

  • Established caseload with ongoing support

  • Consistent school-day schedule

  • Collaborative and supportive educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services

  • Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Texas SLP License

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • School-based experience preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
