Sr. Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance a modern hybrid Microsoft infrastructure environment. This role will lead enterprise modernization initiatives across Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and identity services while partnering with security, networking, and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience in cloud technologies, identity management, and enterprise systems administration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Manage and enhance Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
• Design, implement, and support Microsoft Intune solutions.
• Administer and optimize Azure-based infrastructure and services.
• Support and maintain SCCM/MECM environments.
• Collaborate with security teams on Microsoft Defender deployment, tuning, and optimization.
• Drive Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives and best practices.
• Partner with networking, database, and infrastructure teams on enterprise projects.
• Support authentication modernization efforts, including multi-factor authentication initiatives.
• Assist with secure integration of emerging technologies and AI-related platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

This hourly pay rate is $35-45/hr

Skills and Requirements

• Strong experience with: o Microsoft Azure o Active Directory o Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) o Microsoft Intune o SCCM/MECM

• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and technologies.

• Experience collaborating across multiple technical disciplines.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
