Senior Financial Analyst-Supply Chain Finance Description -

  • This role is responsible for leading and advising on critical business initiatives, overseeing analysts across finance sub-functions and geographies/organizations. The role is responsible for driving financial management by analyzing, reporting, and reconciling financial and operational results. The role drives process improvements, provides expert counsel, represents the business unit/organization, and mentors lower-level employees, contributing to operational and strategic success.

Responsibilities

  • Builds commodity cost forecast (flash & budget) for all commodities from Personal systems (except alliance CPU/GPU) challenging and partnering with Operations team. The functional areas that needs to ensure an accurate forecast are purchase price variance, standard revaluation and rebates.

  • Provides explanations for the deviations between actuals versus flash; which requires a highly complex financial analysis.

  • Actively leads business initiatives/projects regards commodity costs, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.

  • Continuously drive improvement in financial modelling, identifies issues and proposes solutions.

  • Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.

  • Global role requires cross functional/geographical collaboration.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
