Senior Technical Analyst, Infrastructure Systems Administration

Job Description

A manufacturing and retail industry client is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst, Infrastructure Systems Administration to join their team! This individual will serve as the senior technical resource for critical infrastructure systems, overseeing system monitoring, administration, maintenance, and support across both cloud and on-premise environments. Approximately 80% of the role will be focused on infrastructure projects such as firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, cloud platform administration, system optimization, and modernization initiatives, while also acting as the highest level of escalation for complex Tier 3 support issues. The position will provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level administrators, mentor team members, collaborate closely with security teams, and help plan and execute infrastructure projects that support business operations. This role offers significant visibility and ownership over mission-critical systems and enterprise infrastructure initiatives. Salary range is $130,000-$160,000 plus bonus. The position is hybrid and requires onsite attendance 3 days per week in either Phoenix, AZ or Los Angeles, CA. Full-time employment is preferred, with potential consideration for contract-to-hire due to the sensitive nature of the role.

• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior to mid-level administrators

• Windows Server administration in a predominantly Windows environment

• Active Directory administration

• Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID

• Azure infrastructure experience

• AWS infrastructure administration

• VMware installation, administration, maintenance, and support

• Windows patch management and vulnerability remediation (Tenable preferred)

• Experience supporting both cloud and on-premises environments

• Experience supporting environments with approximately 500-1,000+ user accounts

• Project leadership and technical solution ownership experience

• Ability to support Tier 3 escalation issues

• Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure monitoring experience • Nutanix administration, maintenance, and support

• SUSE Linux administration

• SAP MII on Linux experience

• CrowdStrike support and monitoring

• PRTG network and systems monitoring

• Tripwire SIEM

• Enterprise digital certificate installation and maintenance

• Rubrik backup and recovery

• AWS RDS (Microsoft SQL) administration

• Datadog monitoring

• Experience deploying enterprise infrastructure solutions
