A Snapshot of Your Day
The Weekend Production Supervisor is responsible for manufacturing products using safe and efficient manufacturing processes through the management of the production team members. Oversee the production process making sure products are produced safely ensuring the highest quality and timeliness and with a commitment to process improvement and business initiatives including Six Sigma, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing. Under minimal direction, supervises all production employees, safety, scheduling assignments, work center balancing, monitoring of fulfillment of customer production and quality requirements, control of scrap and rework, efficiency, application of overtime, and documentation of these activities. The incumbent will act as the primary contact for in-house departments for production related issues in the assigned area and must be able to manage a diverse group of people, motivating staff to work together as one team. Strong leadership skills are the most important personal requirement that allows the Production Supervisor to perform within the role.

Leaddaily manufacturing operations with a strong focus on safety, OSHA compliance,and corrective action for unsafe practices.

Monitorproduction performance, analyze operating results, and collaborate acrossdepartments to resolve issues and meet business goals.

Manageworkforce planning, including staffing allocation, training, temporary laborneeds, attendance tracking, and employee development.

Authorizeovertime, address personnel matters, and support disciplinary actions whilefostering a productive work environment.

Adjustproduction schedules and allocate resources to meet customer demand anddelivery commitments.

Drivecontinuous improvement and lean initiatives while providing effectiveleadership, performance management, and operational decision-making.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s Degree,(BS/BA) or associate’s degree with equivalent work-related experience (4 years)or 10+ years of manufacturing supervision experience.

2+ years of directsupervisory experience and 5+ plus years of manufacturing experience involvingmachining is preferred.

Experience in LeanManufacturing, Six Sigma, and or 5S. Working knowledge of MRP and QualityControl systems.

Experience working ina multi-disciplinary team environment.

Excellent,demonstrated experience with computers and Microsoft Office software. Priorknowledge of Siemens Energy applications, customers, processes, and products

Conflict resolutionexperience with an hourly workforce is preferred.
