Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Planner and Scheduler II/III for our Business Unit, Armament Systems , located in Plymouth, MN .
Armament Systems specializes in the development and production of Ammunition, Guns and Precision Guidance Ordinance.
Job Description:
-
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.

Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.

Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.

Coordinates inter-departmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

Basic Qualifications (Level II):

This position emphasizes skills and experience. Must have 6 years of experience in lieu of degree. Will consider a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or MS with 0 years of experience.

Experience in MS Office Applications

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance if required.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Level III):

This position emphasizes skills and experience. Must have 9 years of experience in lieu of degree. Will consider a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or MS with 0 years of experience.

Experience in MS Office Applications

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance if required.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,800.00 - $122,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
