Company: Good Life Restoration https://goodliferestoration.com/ Location: Sacramento, CA (Not a REMOTE position) Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Insurance Coordinator plays a critical role in managing GoodLife Restoration’s relationships with insurance programs and ensuring all required timelines, documentation, communication, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. This position coordinates daily job activities, tracks plans and permits, supports Project Managers, and keeps clients and insurance programs informed throughout the restoration process. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain relationships with insurance programs including Sedgwick, Contractor Connection, Alacrity, and Lionsbridge. • Monitor and ensure all required SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met for each program. Maintain program scores at 3.5–4.0 or higher. • Perform daily follow-up on jobs in Work Authorization where GoodLife may be providing Board Up, starting Plans and Permits, Packout & Storage of Contents, Temporary Power Set Up, Rebuild Estimates, or Temporary Fencing. • Track the status of Work Authorization activities and ensure next steps are identified, assigned, and completed promptly. • Perform weekly follow-up and tracking of plans and permits on all applicable projects. • Set up Project Managers’ initial budget sheets and provide accurate project information for job kickoff. • Provide regular client updates and insurance program updates as required by each carrier/program. • Maintain accurate records, documentation, notes, and status updates in all designated systems, including DASH, SoHo, or similar platforms. • Communicate proactively with sales, Project Managers, field staff, estimating, contents, accounting, and leadership to keep projects moving. • Assist with resolving issues or delays related to insurance approvals, documentation, SLA requirements, plans, permits, or program compliance. Required skills & Qualifications • Previous experience in insurance coordination, claims, restoration, construction administration, or a related field preferred. • Familiarity with insurance programs such as Sedgwick, Contractor Connection, Alacrity, Lionsbridge, or similar networks. • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines and SLA requirements. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and tracking. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Preferred Skills • Experience with restoration software and platforms such as DASH, SoHo, or similar systems. • Knowledge of construction, permitting, estimating, and restoration workflows. • Previous experience working directly with insurance carriers, TPAs, managed repair networks, or program administrators. • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. • Experience monitoring scorecards, KPIs, SLAs, and program compliance. Working Conditions • Primarily office-based with regular phone and computer use. • Occasional jobsite or field communication may be required. • Standard business hours with flexibility as needed during peak periods, emergency losses, or critical deadlines.
