Facilities Services Support-3rd Shift- $23.33/hour

Location: Lafayette, Indiana

Facilities Services Support needed at The Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, IN. In this role you will perform a wide range of facilities services tasks. Hauling trash, beautification of facility, maintaining chip hoppers and media tubs. Machine and barrel clean out as needed. Penthouse and paint booth filter replacement on PM schedule. Manage wood auger, housekeeping and disposal. Responsible for supporting facility services at times may be required to work overtime to support the manufacturing requirements.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Managing Recyclables

• Moving material via sit down fork truck & tuggers

• Sorting scrap material

• Filter replacement

• Machine cleanouts

• Wood disposal

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have sit-down fork truck experience.

• Must have good written and oral communication skills.

• Self-motivated, safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.

• Basic computer skills.

Top Candidates will also:

• Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support facility.

• Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.

• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat.

• Standing on concrete for 8+ hours.

Additional Information:

• Position available on 3rd shift (10:00pm – 06:00am)

• Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected applicant.

• 13 days / 104 hours of paid Personal Time Off (PTO) - (Prorated based upon start date)

• 11 Paid holidays

• 40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime

Summary Pay Range:

$23.33 - $30.33
