Operations Manager 1, Multi-Service

Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager I – Multi Service to support a manufacturing client in Lima, OH. This role oversees soft services across three large buildings, including daily operations, service quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Manage environmental services, grounds, pest control, contracted services, ordering, inventory, and cost control. The manager will ensure consistent service delivery, efficient resource use, and strong operational performance across all three buildings.

About the job

Lead daily operations for two or more core service areas at a client site, ensuring exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term retention. Implement operational strategies that support client objectives, drive performance, and contribute to profitable growth. Supervise team members, allocate resources, monitor operating standards, and develop new programs to enhance service offerings.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $74290 per year - $96140 per year

• Knowledge across facilities management operations, including custodial, housekeeping, grounds, pest control, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

• Business and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.

• Customer service expertise focused on relationship building and communication.

• Leadership skills to develop teams, delegate effectively, and maintain accountability.

• Experience establishing operating standards, implementing quality improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

• Proactive, resourceful approach to solving operational challenges and supporting daily functions.
