Description
Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor, and guidance of the Lead Technologist, the US Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures as requested. The technologist will also perform any job-related functions (clerical, transportation, training and cleaning), as needed to provide optimal patient care while maintaining hospital values.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: INPATIENT & OUTPATIENT ULTRASOUND: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound program, plus 5 years experience in a high volume acute care setting.

Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

6 months MATERNAL FETAL TESTING: Acute 2nd and 3rd trimester OB experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program.

Upon hire: RDMS certified in both Abdomen and OB-GYN.

2 years of experience performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures in a high volume acute-care setting.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
