About the Role: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Companion (SC) to join our growing team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by providing genuine companionship and supportive in-home care. Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors in their homes, fostering trust and positive relationships

Assist clients with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands
-
Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities
-
Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the care team
-
Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities to promote mental well-being

Provide respite support to family caregivers as needed
-
Maintain accurate client care records and documentation in accordance with company standards
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a caregiving, companion care, or personal support role is an asset

Genuine passion for working with seniors and elderly individuals
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
-
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional attitude
-
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle considered an asset
-
Ability to pass the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) assessment.

Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)

Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain

Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening required

Comprehensive initial training provided.
