Job Title: Logistics Engineering Internship, Summer 2027 Department: IT, Telecom & Internet Country: United States of America State/Province: Arkansas City: Lowell Full/Part Time: Part time Job Summary: Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for participating in engineering and technology tasks as part of an assigned team and may have the opportunity to gain exposure to other disciplines. This position is designed to give students the opportunity to extend their classroom learning and receive industry experience over the summer with up to 40 hours a week. Job Description: Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand knowledge of the transportation industry and related systems • Perform limited analysis and design tasks
  • May troubleshoot and address bugs and problems with assistance from senior team members
  • May develop an understanding of processes associated with the organizational software development lifecycle through participation and specialized training
  • May gain awareness and knowledge of quantitative methods, computer programming, optimization, and/or solution design to support data analysis
  • May assist with solving problems related to process improvement by analyzing internal and external data, including, but not limited to operations, pricing, financial, and customer information
  • May develop scripts and automation of infrastructure processes in areas such as cybersecurity, database engineering, or cloud under senior engineer guidance
  • May learn to diagnose systems problems

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in a technology related degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering at an accredited academic institution. Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75, with a 3.0 in the major field of study. OR high school students who demonstrate professional readiness and are supported by a recognized STEM program. Be able to work up to 40 hours a week during the summer.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled (or have just completed) a course of study in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or applicable degree field at an accredited university or junior college.

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation: Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
