Job Duties
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for delivering painted units to the assembly department and empty carts back to the paint department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Tugger Driver
Drive PIV that is pulling 2 large trailers that carries carts (4) with units and machines in them
Inventory transactions with a handheld scanner
Work closely with the leads in the paint department and leads in the assembly department to ensure needs are met for both departments
Additional tasks included assisting other material handlers in the Assembly department, working on the assembly line and assisting the paint unload team with organization of the units
Other
Maintain clean and organized work area and aisles
Report safety concerns
Support training of new team members
Use of hand tools such as safety knife, prybar, and hammer
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in inventory, material handling, part picking, or similar position is preferred.
Experience using RF scanning devices.
Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand).
Basic counting, adding and subtracting.
Good organization, attention to detail, and time management.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift/carry up to 10 lbs constantly and up to boxes weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Push/pull up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Perform tasks that are primarily walking and standing for full 8-12 hour shift.
Frequently use hands and fingers to pick parts and grip objects, tools, scanner
Occasionally crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, and reach forward and overhead.
Bend, twist/turn, push/pull, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary.
Operate powered equipment listed above.

Your base wage will be between $21.50 - $24.25 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
