Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Technical Editor and Write r or Technical Editor and Write r . This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL. In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:

Responsibilities Include:

• Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.

• Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.

• Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts.

• Conducts quality review of materials.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Technical Editor and Write r :

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027

• Be majoring in or having majored in a Business, Pre-Law, Supply Chain, Project Management or related degree

• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

• Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027, or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of related experience

• Be majoring in or having majored in a Business, Pre-Law, Supply Chain, Project Management or related degree

• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher

• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Pay Range:

• Associate Technical Editor and Write r: $49,400 – $74,200

• Technical Editor and Writer : $59,600 – $89,400
