Elementary School Setting | Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team supporting elementary students in an inclusive educational environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to help students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success.

In this role, you'll conduct evaluations, provide direct therapy services, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to a supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning.

  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable.

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

  • Current health certificate, if required.

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Adherence to all relevant professional standards of practice.

Assignment Details

  • Setting: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology

  • Student Population: Elementary School

  • Classroom Environment: Inclusion

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

  • Medical Support Level: Level 1

  • Behavioral Support Level: None

  • Interview Required: Yes

  • Interview Process: Virtual interview with the Special Education team
