Full job description
Description We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to provide dependable support across HR operations and office administration in Kent, Washington. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, handles sensitive information with discretion, and enjoys supporting both employees and leadership. The role focuses on coordinating hiring activities, onboarding, records management, benefits support, and day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the workplace running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate hiring support by managing job postings, reviewing incoming applications, arranging interviews, and keeping candidates informed throughout the process.

Facilitate onboarding and separation activities to help ensure a smooth experience for new hires and departing employees.

Organize, update, and safeguard employee files and HR documentation in both digital and paper-based systems.

Assist with benefits-related administration, including enrollment materials, employee questions, and required documentation.

Help plan and track training sessions, employee development efforts, and engagement initiatives across the organization.

Support HR compliance efforts by preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and following retention guidelines.

Contribute to employee recognition efforts and assist with workplace events and team functions.

Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate ordering to maintain efficient daily operations.

Provide administrative support for special projects and additional departmental priorities as needed. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in human resources coordination, HR administration, or a related support role.

Hands-on experience with onboarding processes, background checks, and orientation activities for new employees.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee records.

Working knowledge of HR compliance practices, document retention, and confidentiality standards.

Experience assisting with benefits coordination and employee communications.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, candidates, and managers.
