Description

AMPORTS is a leading provider of port-based automotive and logistics services supporting customers across the United States. The Finance team supports accurate, timely financial processing and reporting at corporate and facility levels, enabling operational continuity and strong internal controls.

Summary The Office Accounting Manager is responsible for providing the primary office management services for AMPORTS. This includes organizing and coordinating the financial operations of A/R, A/P, and Payroll/HR, maintaining office services and efficiency, supervising office staff, and maintaining office records. Essential Functions

  • Submit Financial Reports (Flash, Volumes, etc.) to Corporate by established deadlines.

  • Manage AP/AR and Account Coordinator positions.

  • Ensure AR/AP are completed in a timely manner.

  • Communicate with customers regarding AR/AP matters.

  • Ensure contracts are maintained and rates are correctly reflected in IBM.

  • Confirm all customer systems are being used in accordance with contract terms.

  • Approve payroll for employees under OAM supervision.

  • Assist the General Manager as needed.

  • Ensure AR collections are maintained.

  • Complete Month-End Close reporting.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Corporate or the General Manager.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment Well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment, or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions. Physical Demands Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Standard hours are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, on a day shift. This position often requires overtime. Travel Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.

  • Computer Operations

  • Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
