Department Manager - Agentic AI

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Department Manager for Agentic AI Solutions for a leading utility client. This leader will be responsible for establishing and scaling an enterprise Agentic AI team focused on creating AI agents that drive business use cases across the organization. The ideal candidate is a visionary AI leader who can identify opportunities, design solutions, create reference architectures, and build repeatable frameworks that enable enterprise-wide adoption of agentic AI. This individual will partner extensively with business stakeholders, cybersecurity, architecture, platform, and data teams to deliver scalable AI solutions built on modern cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and AWS. The role is highly strategic and stakeholder-facing, requiring strong communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence and build relationships across the enterprise. This is not a hands-on coding role; rather, the focus is on solution design, architecture, AI innovation, governance, and leading teams responsible for delivering next-generation AI capabilities at scale.

Skills and Requirements

-Leadership experience managing technical teams, managers, and enterprise initiatives -Proven experience delivering GenAI, Agentic AI, and AI transformation programs -Strong Agentic AI expertise with ability to create scalable AI agents and enterprise-wide use cases -Visionary mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and design AI-driven business solutions -Experience developing solution architecture, technical design, and reference architectures -Strong orchestration framework experience, including MCP orchestration concepts -Cloud experience with GCP preferred; Azure and AWS experience accepted -Experience working with BigQuery and building AI solutions on top of BigQuery environments -Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and Oracle -Strong understanding of AI governance, security, compliance, and enterprise standards -Experience delivering AI solutions from prototype, POC, and pilot through production deployment Candidate should be focused on strategy, architecture, and delivery leadership, not hands-on coding -Utility industry experience -Experience with enterprise AI marketplaces and reusable AI solution ecosystems -Bedrock experience -Vendor management experience -Background in enterprise architecture or digital transformation -Machine Learning background
