The Opportunity
The Senior DHMO Controls Analyst is responsible for supporting DHMO Quality Management, regulatory compliance, governance, audit readiness, reporting, and continuous improvement activities across MetLife's dental managed care operations. The role provides critical oversight and analytical support for regulatory committees, quality improvement programs, corrective action monitoring, policy governance, and regulatory reporting to help ensure compliance, operational effectiveness, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Manage DHMO Quality Improvement and Utilization Management governance activities, including regulatory committee administration, meeting facilitation, committee documentation, and reporting to support compliance and organizational oversight. *
Analyze and report DHMO quality, regulatory, operational, financial, satisfaction, grievance, and performance data; identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to support business objectives and continuous improvement. *
Support regulatory audits, examinations, corrective action initiatives, and audit readiness activities through documentation management, evidence validation, remediation tracking, and compliance monitoring. *
Develop and maintain Quality Management governance processes, including policy and procedure controls, reporting frameworks, documentation standards, and process enhancements that strengthen compliance, transparency, and audit readiness. *
Partner and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance efforts, reporting enhancements, and strategic projects that improve organizational performance and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in quality management, regulatory compliance, audit support, managed care, dental insurance, healthcare operations, or a related field.

Experience supporting regulatory committees, quality improvement programs, utilization management, audit readiness, corrective action monitoring, and regulatory reporting within a highly regulated environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and risks, and develop actionable recommendations to support compliance and business objectives.

Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and communicate effectively with business partners and leadership.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint, with demonstrated AI fluency and experience utilizing AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting, documentation, analysis, and operational efficiency; high school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to use approved AI tools to support routine tasks such as drafting, summarizing, organization information, and improving day-to-day efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in DHMO and dental managed care regulatory operations, including quality management programs, regulatory oversight, audits, corrective action plans, and regulatory reporting. *
Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, trend analyses, executive-level reporting, and process improvement initiatives using reporting, automation, or AI-enabled tools. *
Experience presenting findings, recommendations, and performance results to leadership and governance committees, and influencing stakeholders to support regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and strategic initiatives.
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $82,000 - $100,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
