Digital IT Project Manager (Website/Mobile Apps) *HIRING ASAP*

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to lead large-scale web and mobile application initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This individual will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including project planning, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, stakeholder communication, and successful delivery of strategic digital initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing enterprise programs exceeding $2M in project value, partnering with business and technology leaders, and driving cross-functional teams through execution. Strong experience supporting customer-facing web applications, mobile platforms, and digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise web application and mobile digital projects from initiation through implementation.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource plans, budgets, and forecasts.

• Manage project portfolios and initiatives with budgets exceeding $2M+.

• Partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, PMO leadership, and executive sponsors.

• Oversee third-party vendors, consulting partners, and system integrators to ensure project deliverables, timelines, and contractual obligations are met.

• Provide financial oversight, including budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and resource planning.

• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and executive communications.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, UX/UI, Security, and Operations.

• Drive Agile delivery practices while ensuring alignment with enterprise PMO standards.

• Identify project dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

• Support portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and strategic digital transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Project or Program Management experience within large enterprise organizations.

• Demonstrated experience managing web application and/or mobile application projects.

• Proven success managing projects, programs, or portfolios with budgets exceeding $2M+.

• Strong experience with project financial management, including:

• Budgeting

• Forecasting

• Cost management

• Resource planning

• Financial reporting

• Experience managing external vendors, consulting firms, and technology partners.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certifications.

• Experience working within PMO-driven organizations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Morristown, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
