The Public Relations & Communications Business Partner supports the organization’s mission, vision, values, goals and initiatives by collaborating with department leadership to manage public relations and communications strategies, projects and initiatives. The role works with peers and designated others such as population health area or site leadership to implement integrated public relations and internal and external communications plans including measurement and reporting for all customer groups.

What You Can Expect:

  • Lead strategic communications and public relations initiatives that elevate St. Luke's brand, reputation, and community impact.

  • Partner with executives and key stakeholders to shape messaging, tell meaningful stories, and advance organizational priorities.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor during opportunities and challenges, providing communications counsel that builds confidence, credibility, and trust.

  • Foster strong relationships with media, community organizations, and industry partners while representing St. Luke's in the community.

  • Create engaging communications and lead special projects that strengthen visibility, support growth, and connect people to our mission.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience: Six (6) years' relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare or health system communications experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience developing and executing strategic communications, public relations, or media relations initiatives.

  • Experience advising leaders, building stakeholder relationships, and managing complex communications challenges.

  • Experience supporting reputation management, community engagement, and crisis or issues response efforts.

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling messages.
