Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Scheduling Manager to support the engineering, procurement, and construction of hyperscale, mission-critical data center projects across the United States for a leading energy company. This role will lead all project scheduling and planning activities across a portfolio of large-scale data center projects. The Scheduling Manager will be responsible for managing integrated master schedules, establishing scheduling standards and governance, overseeing a team of schedulers, and providing executive-level reporting and schedule performance insights. Working closely with project management, construction, project controls, engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams, this individual will drive schedule accuracy, risk identification, forecasting, and recovery planning to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, advanced Primavera P6 expertise, and extensive experience managing schedules on large capital construction projects.

Skills and Requirements

8-12 years of project scheduling experience supporting large-scale construction, industrial, EPC, mission-critical, or data center projects, LNG or semiconductor preferred

3+ years of experience leading schedulers, planners, or project controls teams

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related field

Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and integrated master schedule development, acumen, notes and links, SRAs

Ability to automate work tasks

Experience managing schedules from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, and project turnover

Strong understanding of critical path methodology, schedule forecasting, trend analysis, and schedule recovery planning

Experience developing schedule governance processes, reporting standards, and project controls procedures

Ability to identify schedule risks, evaluate impacts, and implement mitigation strategies across multiple projects

Experience presenting schedule performance metrics and executive-level reports to leadership and clients

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Experience supporting hyperscale data center or mission-critical facility construction projects

Professional certifications such as AACE PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, or equivalent

Experience leading scheduling functions across multiple concurrent projects or programs

Familiarity with earned value management (EVM), schedule risk analysis, and delay analysis methodologies

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or advanced schedule visualization and reporting tools

Knowledge of EPC, GMP, and design-build project delivery methods

Experience supporting client-facing schedule reviews, recovery workshops, and executive steering committee meetings
