Job Description
We are seeking a Tier 1 Data Specialist to support business customers experiencing internet and connectivity issues. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, basic networking knowledge, and a passion for troubleshooting technical problems. You'll investigate outages, packet loss, slow connections, and other connectivity issues while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities: -Troubleshoot internet and circuit connectivity issues for business customers -Investigate outages, service impairments, slow performance, and packet loss -Document troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolutions in ServiceNow -Determine whether issues originate on the customer side or network side -Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues when appropriate -Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the support process
Skills and Requirements
-2+ years of customer service, technical support, help desk, or similar experience -Understanding of networking fundamentals, including the OSI Model, routers, switches, and Layer troubleshooting -Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills -Reliable attendance, punctuality, and schedule flexibility -Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and take ownership of cases through resolution -Network Certifications -Technical Degree
