Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) , you will join an established and growing network at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, providing outstanding, comprehensive care to patients in the beautiful and coastal-adjacent community of Lake Jackson, Texas.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel, seeing an average of 18-22 patients daily, from newborns to seniors, under physician supervision. You will diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, emphasize preventative care, and collaborate closely with a dedicated support team. All of this is within a flexible 4.5-day work week designed to optimize your work-life balance.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active or eligible license to practice medicine in Texas. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction, and be adept at working both independently and as a valued member of our collaborative primary care team.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Texas .

  • Strong clinical skills in comprehensive primary care , including patient assessment, diagnosis, and management from newborns to seniors (under physician supervision).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented outpatient environment , adapting to a structured 4.5-day work week.

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care and ensuring patient satisfaction.

  • DEA registration or eligibility for registration.

Pay Range

$117,297 - $130,330 /year
