This is a hands-on role serving as the company’s sole IT resource. You will manage employee support, onboarding and offboarding, endpoints, business applications, networks, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate has experience supporting a growing startup and can balance daily requests with improvements that help the business scale.
Responsibilities

Own employee IT support from intake and troubleshooting through resolution, keeping users informed and coordinating vendor escalations when needed.
-
Manage onboarding and offboarding, including hardware, accounts, access provisioning, and secure removal of access.
-
Provision and manage laptops and workstations through MDM, including device policies, procurement, maintenance, and retirement.
-
Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including user accounts, permissions, configurations, and licensing.
-
Configure and maintain corporate networks, including firewalls, switches, wireless, VPN, and DNS.
-
Manage internet connectivity, ISP relationships, and failover to support business uptime.
-
Oversee SaaS and engineering tool access, including GitHub provisioning and license management.
-
Manage IT vendors and managed service providers, including contracts, service levels, renewals, performance, and escalations.
-
Coordinate non-production AWS and GCP access, including IAM groups, provisioning standards, and access reviews.
-
Maintain IT documentation and support conference rooms, phone systems, printers, office moves, and cabling projects.
Required Experience
-
5+ years of IT experience with increasing responsibility for corporate IT operations and vendor management.
-
Hands-on experience supporting an early- or mid-stage startup.
-
Strong Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration experience.
-
Experience with MDM, endpoint provisioning, device policies, and hardware lifecycle management.
-
Ability to operate independently as the sole IT resource, prioritize requests, and resolve issues directly.
-
Strong technical knowledge across endpoint management, IAM/SSO, networking, and cloud access.
-
Experience managing SaaS licenses, vendor contracts, service level agreements, and renewals.
-
Hands-on experience with IAM tools, SSO, user provisioning, and application and group management.
-
Strong macOS skills and experience supporting Windows environments.
-
Excellent communication, documentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Strongly Preferred
-
Experience working in a SaaS company.
-
Experience supporting a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or Security Operations Center (SOC).

The Offer
-
$120,000–$140,000 base salary
-
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
-
401(k) with a 4% company match
-
Flexible paid time off
-
Modern, newly renovated office
-
Innovative work in an emerging field with strong growth potential
