About The Role:

Asa CBRE Maintenance Technical Apprentice, you will develop on the job skills tomaintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis. Thisjob is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

•Receive training from current engineers in proper job safety and repairprocedures.

•Observe engineers while they perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairson facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems,equipment, and facilities.

•Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

•Work with management to ensure energy management by taking measures to verifythat all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

•Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes andsafety regulations. • Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitivetasks or job activities.

•Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined andfollowed with little to no discretion.

What You’ll Need:

•High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year collegeprogram or technical school.

•Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing,walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of50 lbs. or more.

•Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.

•Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.

•Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel,Outlook, etc.

•Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Pay Disclaimer - Not-Bonus Eligible: * CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Apprentice position is $50,000 annually [or $24.04 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Apprentice position is $65,000 annually [or $31.25 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
