We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, vision, and evolution of our API Gateway, Managed File Transfer (MFT), and Agentic AI capabilities. These platforms enable secure, reliable exchange across applications, services, partners, business processes, and AI agents. The successful candidate will define a multi-year product strategy passionate about automation, resilience, availability, and security.
AI will be central to this vision. The successful candidate will use agentic AI capabilities, and intelligent automation to improve onboarding, self-service, operations, insights, and workflows. In this role, the candidate will also develop safe, auditable patterns for agent-to-agent and agent-to-system interactions.
We are looking for a leader who is excited to challenge established approaches, experiment thoughtfully, learn continuously, and build what comes next for secure integration.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision and product strategy: Own the multi-year roadmap for API Gateway, MFT, and Agentic AI, anticipating customer needs, technology shifts, security
expectations, and new integration patterns.

Build modern integration : Guide secure interactions across APIs, events, files, services, partners, and AI agents while supporting cloud-native, event-driven, and zero-trust approaches.

Enable agentic workflows: Define product needs for agent-to-agent and agent-to-system communication, orchestration, state management, observability, guardrails, and governance.

Put AI at the center of innovation : Apply AI and intelligent automation to improve onboarding, operations, self-service, anomaly detection, insights, workflows, and
product decisions.
- Modernize API and file-transfer experiences: Improve discovery, onboarding, traffic management, identity, policy enforcement, secure data movement, encryption,
automation, observability, and self-service.

Deliver product outcomes : Turn strategy into priorities and investments that improve adoption, reliability, speed, scalability, cost efficiency, developer and user experience, and risk reduction.

Advance security, resilience, and trust : Partner with Engineering, Cybersecurity, Risk, and Compliance to strengthen identity, data protection, access, reliability, agent
governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Build positive relationships: Work across Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Operations, AI/ML, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to align priorities, resolve
trade-offs, and accelerate outcomes.
- Lead through influence : Communicate priorities, risks, and outcomes to senior leaders and partners while coaching product professionals and building strong product
practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.
-
8+ years of product management, technology product leadership, platform strategy, or related experience, including ownership of complex products or platforms.
-
Proven ability to define and deliver multi-year product strategies, roadmaps, priorities, and outcomes.
-
Experience managing technology products that serve developers, applications, business teams, partners at scale.
-
Sufficient proficiency to partner effectively with Engineering and Architecture on cloud, integration, security, reliability, automation, and platform modernization.
-
Experience using customer insights, product data, and business priorities to make decisions, simplify experiences, and improve adoption.
-
Exposure to AI, intelligent automation, or new technologies and the ability to translate them into practical product opportunities.
-
Strong collaboration, influencing, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including aligning with diverse teams and communicate with senior leaders.
-
Experience working across Engineering, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and business teams to deliver secure and resilient technology products.
-
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing product professionals and applying Agile/Lean practices to improve delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Product leadership experience with API Gateway, API management, MFT, middleware, data movement, or developer platforms at scale.
-
Knowledge of API management capabilities and technologies, including traffic control, authentication, authorization, policy enforcement, rate limiting, and platforms such as Apigee, Kong, or AWS API Gateway.
-
Knowledge of secure file-transfer capabilities, including encryption, orchestration, and protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, S3, GCS or AS2.
-
Experience with agentic AI, autonomous workflows, agent-to-agent or agent-to-system communication, orchestration, guardrails, governance, and observability.
-
Experience modernizing core platforms through cloud, automation, self-service, APIs, event-driven architecture, or zero-trust approaches.

Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
