Testing Technicain Needed for Inudstrial Surge Power Manufacturer in Kearny, NJ

Pay: $32-$35+/hour ; Overtime: $48-$52.50/hour

Location: Kearny, NJ

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Voltage Switchgear Testing Technician to join our team. This role involves conducting electrical testing, interpreting schematics and blueprints, and running panels efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct low voltage switchgear testing and electrical testing.

• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.

• Run and manage electrical panels.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.

• Perform manual testing and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical testing.

• Proficiency in low voltage and low voltage switchgear testing.

• Strong ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.

• Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in wiring and electrical work is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kearny, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
