The Manager of Onboarding and Compliance is responsible for leading ADROIT's contractor onboarding and compliance programs to ensure a deliver a consistent pipeline of qualified, compliant, and ride-ready contractors. This role oversees the Onboarding Specialists, manages onboarding operations, and ensures all contractors meet company, customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding Leadership

  • Oversee the daily activities of the Onboarding Specialists, ensuring onboarding targets, productivity goals, and key performance metrics are consistently achieved.

  • Provide coaching, training, and support to Onboarding Specialists while removing obstacles that impact onboarding performance.

  • Create and maintain onboarding programs, packages, and requirements for new and existing service areas.

  • Ensure ADROIT systems accurately reflect onboarding workflows, document repositories, and contractor requirements.

  • Develop, document, and continuously improve onboarding processes and standard operating procedures.

  • Monitor onboarding funnel performance, contractor conversion rates, onboarding cycle times, and fulfillment readiness.

Compliance Management

  • Lead contractor compliance operations, including document review, credential verification, background screening requirements, and ongoing compliance monitoring.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, federal, contractual, and company requirements.

  • Manage driver qualification files, credential tracking, renewal monitoring, and document expiration processes.

  • Conduct internal compliance audits and reviews to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure audit readiness across all service areas.

  • Assist with investigations, documentation reviews, and resolution of compliance-related concerns.

  • Monitor compliance metrics and trends and provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.

  • Support compliance training initiatives for employees, contractors, and providers.

  • Oversee vehicle camera installation, compliance, video requests and asset tracking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Onboarding, Fulfillment, Client Relations, and Operations teams to ensure contractor readiness aligns with service demand.

  • Lead regular cross-functional meetings to review onboarding progress, compliance performance, operational challenges, and growth initiatives.

  • Partner with Operations leadership to support service launches and expanding markets.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on onboarding, quality, compliance, and operational goals.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and report onboarding and compliance KPIs to leadership.

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency, contractor experience, compliance performance, and operational readiness.

  • Develop and implement corrective action plans when compliance or onboarding deficiencies are identified.

  • Perform other onboarding, compliance, operational, and leadership-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Compliance, Operations, Logistics, Safety, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience leading onboarding, compliance, operations, or related functions.

  • Experience managing employees and performance expectations.

  • Working knowledge of compliance programs, audits, credential management, and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including Excel/Sheets.

  • Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX.

Salary

  • $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
