Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support leaders and employees at a Healthcare organization in Somerset, New Jersey. This is a Long-term Contract position that requires 100% onsite presence and offers a blend of strategic partnership and day-to-day human resources support. The person in this role will help guide employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and HR program delivery while fostering a productive and compliant workplace environment.
Responsibilities:

Partner with department leaders to provide practical HR guidance that supports business priorities and team effectiveness.

Advise managers and employees on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, performance matters, and conflict resolution.

Lead or support employee relations reviews, investigations, grievance responses, and labor-related issues in a unionized setting.

Assist with talent-related activities such as internal movement discussions, career development support, and retention initiatives.

Coordinate engagement efforts, exit feedback processes, and trend analysis to identify opportunities for workforce improvement.

Prepare and maintain required HR reports, documentation, and compliance records for site and corporate needs.

Collaborate with internal HR specialty teams, including benefits, compensation, and employee health, to address employee and business needs.

Support onsite HR programs, special projects, and operational initiatives as needed across assigned client groups.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Behavioral Sciences, or a related discipline.

Prior experience serving as an HR Business Partner in an organizational setting that requires attention to detail.

Strong background in employee relations, HR policy application, and workplace investigations.

Experience handling labor relations matters, including union grievances, within a unionized environment.

Solid communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, use sound judgment, and make independent decisions.

Familiarity with HR administration processes and talent management systems.
