Basic Job Functions:

  • Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.

  • Learn various structural line positions including but not limited to: paint line, plate shag, tack-up, seamer, and iron worker.

  • Read and interpret shop drawings.

  • Perform tasks as directed by the Line Supervisor and/or the Line Group Leader.

  • Understand order processing (shop releases and run orders).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess understanding of metal building systems fabrication.

  • 25T, 7.5T, Flip-Rite, and Hot Roll Crane Certifications.

  • Forklift Certification.

Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
