This is a full time (60 hours every 2 weeks) position working 10-hr shifts on varied weekdays with rotating times: 6am-4:30pm, 6:30am-5pm, 7am-5:30pm. The role includes weekday (until 8pm) and weekend (8am-8pm) call coverage on a rotating basis. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

*What you'll do: *

  • Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
  • Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.

*This position is eligible for up to $8k in New Hire Retention Incentives and relocation up to $6k if moving from 100 miles away. *

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

  • Internal candidates
  • Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met :

  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

  • Must remain in original department/specialty

  • Must remain in original Job Title Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • CNMT (CA Certified Nuclear Med Tech)
  • Venipuncture
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience
