About the Role

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives that deliver value to the client while ensuring compliance with quality, service, and commercial requirements. This role partners with client stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies, execute competitive bidding events, negotiate commercial terms, and support contract implementation.

What You'll Do

  • Lead sourcing initiatives from strategy development through supplier selection, negotiation, and implementation.

  • Partner with client stakeholders and internal teams to understand business requirements and deliver procurement solutions aligned with operational objectives.

  • Conduct market assessments, supplier evaluations, competitive bidding events, and commercial analyses to support sourcing decisions.

  • Negotiate favorable commercial outcomes while balancing cost, quality, service, and risk considerations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and deliver measurable business value.

  • Ensure sourcing activities comply with client requirements, contractual obligations, procurement policies, and governance standards.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to support successful project execution and ongoing business needs.

Position Details

  • Individual contributor role with no direct reports.

  • Manages multiple sourcing projects and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

  • Requires strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills across client-facing and cross-functional environments.

  • Focused on delivering measurable business outcomes, supplier value, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Need:

  • Valid U.S. Passport

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sourcing Manager position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
