Full job description

Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients. About the Role We're launching into a new vertical, and we're hiring an Account Executive to lead the charge. This is a 0-to-1 role — not just closing deals, but helping build the playbook from scratch as we break into a brand-new market for the first time. You'll join a high-performing sales org and work closely with senior leadership to establish our presence in this new vertical. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-market ambiguity, wants real ownership, and is excited to help shape how we sell into a new segment. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where execution, curiosity, and grit matter. What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle: qualify, discover, and close new SMB customers in the new vertical

  • Proactively prospect and engage dental practices to drive new client acquisition

  • Serve as a founding voice in shaping the sales motion, messaging, positioning, and processes for this vertical

  • Build and iterate on the playbook in real time — what you figure out becomes the foundation for every AE who comes next

  • Consistently track activity, pipeline, and performance in Salesforce, and help define what "good" looks like in the data

  • Become a student of dentistry and an expert in the product and value proposition

  • Partner closely with senior sales leadership to hit revenue targets and refine KPIs

  • Feed learnings back into product, marketing, and GTM strategy — you're on the front lines and your voice will shape the roadmap

  • Operate with urgency, accountability, and a bias toward action in a fast-moving environment

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of sales experience, with 2+ years owning a full-cycle closing role

  • Experience launching a new vertical, new market, or new product — you've been the first or among the first AEs in a seat before and know what it takes to build from nothing

  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scaling environment strongly preferred

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity with limited structure and resources — you write the playbook as you go

  • Strong organizational skills and disciplined pipeline management

  • High proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRMs

  • Demonstrated track record of professional success

Bonus Points For

  • Experience building a founding sales motion at an early-stage company or newly-acquired business unit

  • Background in healthcare, dental, or adjacent verticals

  • Outstanding professional references to share

  • Love of blitz growth environments

  • Relentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and the ability to have fun at work
