The role allows flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing workload, competing priorities, and deadline situations. Work Schedule - Monday-Friday days

Highlights:

  • Monday – Friday schedule (No weekends)

What a Patient Scheduling Representative will do:

  • Schedule outpatient hospital procedures over the phone, while providing a high-level customer service experience.
  • Obtain, verify orders and referrals from providers.
  • Obtaining patient demographics.
  • Verify that ordered procedures have been authorized by insurance.
  • Provide instructions to patients on test / procedure preparation.

What Patient Scheduling Representative will need:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Terminology
  • Data entry, and technical skills including 50-60 keystrokes per min.
  • Preferred previous experience min of 1 year in medical office, or hospital-based setting.
