NEW HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO $5000. PART-TIME DAYS

  • Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks under direct supervision of a RN.

  • Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect in collaboration with other team members.

  • Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals.

  • Provides quality patient care, including comfort, hygiene, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.

  • Reports patient status changes and needs to RN accurately and promptly.

  • Demonstrates effective use of clinical strategies to ensure patient and associate safety.

  • Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the healthcare team.

  • Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed, and reports findings promptly to RN.

  • Maintains inventory and replacement of telemetry supplies, ensuring all transmitter inventory is accounted for each shift.

  • Assists in training other nursing support staff, volunteers, students, and other hospital personnel.

  • Monitors and documents patient’s cardiac rhythm, recognizing and notifying RN immediately of life-threatening arrhythmias.

  • Maintains patient EKG records systematically and ensures all telemetry patients are connected to central monitor with alarms appropriately set.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

  • 1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred]

  • Previous telemetry experience [Preferred]
