Administrative Graduate Intern Summer 2027

The Opportunity: Graduate Administrative Internship program (3 months) working alongside UCHealth executive leadership teams.

The deadline to apply is November 20, 2026.

Locations:

  • University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, CO

  • Northern Colorado region (Includes Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, Greeley Hospital, and Yampa Valley Medical Center)

  • Southern Colorado region (Includes Memorial Central and Memorial North Hospitals, Pikes Peak Regional Hospital, Grandview Hospital)

  • Metro Denver Community (Includes Highlands Ranch Hospital, Broomfield Hospital, and Longs Peak Hospital)

Department: Administration

Typically, 80 hours per biweekly pay period (no guaranteed hours)

Shift: Days

Pay: 25.00/hour

Minimum Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a graduate degree program (MHA, MHSA, MBA, MPH, or other healthcare/business-related graduate program). Intern must be able to provide proof of progress toward completion of program. Interaction or training in specified area.

Picture yourself on a dynamic team improving lives in the following way(s):

  • Lead and support strategic projects identified by hospital and regional leadership.

  • Conduct operational assessments, workflow analyses, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Collect, analyze, and present data to support decision-making and organizational priorities.

  • Participate in meetings with executive leaders, directors, managers, physicians, and clinical teams.

  • Develop presentations, business cases, reports, and recommendations for leadership review.

  • Assist with planning, implementation, and evaluation of operational and service line initiatives.

  • Support projects related to quality, patient experience, finance, workforce development, access, and hospital operations.

  • Participate in educational experiences, including leadership development sessions, facility tours, executive discussions, and networking opportunities.

Through the internship, participants will:

  • Gain exposure to hospital operations and healthcare leadership.

  • Develop process improvement, project management, analytical, and critical problem-solving skills.

  • Strengthen professional communication and presentation abilities.

  • Build relationships with healthcare executives, operational leaders, and clinical team members.
