Job Description

Compensation:

15 to 25 LPA - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

About the Role

Join a high-visibility engineering team building and running the data platform behind a large advertising business. You will support the data streams that power ad spend and performance reporting, where the numbers tie directly to recorded revenue. This is a balanced role, half production ownership and half building new pipelines, so you stay sharp on both operations and development. If you like owning something that matters and picking up a new domain fast, this one moves.

What You'll Do

• Build and enhance data pipelines for advertising spend and performance data on GCP and BigQuery.

• Own production monitoring for nightly batch runs, catching issues early and protecting SLAs on revenue-facing reports.

• Write clean SQL and Python for transformation and pipeline logic.

• Support and troubleshoot deployments to production through Jenkins.

• Partner closely with the team on high-visibility reporting used across the advertising organization.

• Ramp on the advertising domain quickly and bring initiative from day one.

Skills and Requirements

What You Bring

• Solid data engineering background with hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline experience.

• Strong SQL for complex transformations.

• Python for pipeline and scripting work.

• Hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery.

• Jenkins exposure, comfortable supporting, and troubleshooting production deployments.

• A proactive, self-directed style and comfort operating around overnight batch cycles. Nice to Have

• Streaming experience with Kafka or Pub/Sub.

• Advertising or ad tech domain background (ad spend, campaign, or attribution data).

• Cloud-based Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline experience.

• Groovy scripting for Jenkins.
