Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Health Navigator for one of their clients in the Chattanooga area within the healthcare insurance industry. This individual will serve as a proactive resource for health plan members by providing benefit education, disease prevention support, and guidance on available healthcare programs and services.
Skills and Requirements
- An Associate's degree in Education, Communications, a Health-related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or member support role is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning effectively in a team environment with shared responsibility, accountability, and collaboration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate and engage members regarding healthcare benefits, programs, and services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and effectively navigate system work queues in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience providing customer service, problem resolution, and support while maintaining a member-focused approach.
- Ability to research, analyze, and resolve inquiries related to member services, benefits, and healthcare programs.
- Comfortable conducting outbound phone outreach and building rapport with members to encourage participation in health and wellness initiatives.
