How you’ll make an impact in this role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversees program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develops and documents care plans and therapy programs.

  • Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.

  • Investigate and report safey events

  • Complete detailed chart reviews to identify specific quality indicators. Provide coaching and feedback to staff based on findings.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
